Dr. Eva Ramirez is a 47-year-old environmental scientist based in Portland. A highly respected leader in her field, she’s spent her career advocating for policies to protect natural resources. She loves going on hikes with her wife and kids and enjoys the outdoors every chance she gets. Eva’s a big supporter of renewable energy, affordable housing and women-owned businesses. She grew up in a middle-class home, raised by parents who made sure their kids understood the value of hard work, community and giving back. She often mentors underrepresented women in STEM careers and would like to start a nonprofit that helps others like her do the same. 

Eva is conscientious about money and saving, but hasn’t engaged a financial advisor before. She is looking for an advisor with a holistic approach to financial planning, someone she can stick with long term – who can help her invest responsibly in companies that genuinely care about the environment, save for her kids’ education and create a strategy to start that nonprofit.
